Grappa and different

Grappa types Barbera, Brachetto and Moscato are produced from the pomace (draff) of our grapes. The pomace of our three types of vine has sufficient “acidity” for the production of a good Grappa (the acidity produces the best Italian Grappa in northern Italy). The distillation is carried out, on our behalf, at the renowned “Berta” distillery at Mombaruzzo. Berta employs the classical method of slow, discontinuous steam distillation in copper stills.

The respective distillates obtained are separated, stored, adjusted to 40% v/v alcohol and bottled in clear bottles, in order to preserve the fine aroma. The Grappa is not stored in wooden casks, thus avoiding any impairment of the quality aroma by the wood.
